Reading
Reader's theater will continue this week. We've practiced our parts and now we're ready to put it all together! We will work on creating a set, props, and put some motions with our words. We will continue to practice reading fluidly with expression. Be on the lookout for an invitation to see our plays! It will be sometime on May 27th, I'm not sure of the time yet.
Writing
This week we are getting angry and creating our own Angry Bird! We will create an angry bird out of a Styrofoam cup and give him a name and special abilities. Then we will write a warning note to our Caraway community warning them of this hazardous new addition to our ecosystem.
Math and Social Studies:
We’re continuing our Game of Life this week as we learn about different aspects of economics. We’ll learn about goods and services, producers and consumers, and needs and wants. We will end the week by creating our own product and designing a factory to make it. We will continue to get paid our salary, pay rent, learn about insurance, and learn about calculating interest.
